Swipe left in app deleted children

Strange one this... I was using the Android app and noticed that the whole page would drag left or right, revealing a green background on the right and red on the left. I assumed there must be some new feature behind this so completed the drag... The result was that all children bullets were deleted. I.e. everything beneath the root bullet on the home page has been lost. I can't replicate this. The page dragging/coloured backgrounds have gone.
