Starring items deactivates cursor

If I'm cursored on a line or child line, and I check or uncheck the star button, the cursor is deactivated.

Then, to use key commands to zoom in or out from there, I have to manually click somewhere to reactivate the cursor.

That counts as a glitch to me!

  I agree this counts as a usability glitch, but why not toggle the star using the keyboard to begin?  In Windows, it's Ctrl+*  ...though because of another glitch, Ctrl+Shift+* is what actually works.  And cursor focus is untouched.
