Expand/show all notes in some node
It would be nice if it would be possible to expand all notes within some node.
This gives a better overview of what's written in them without the need to click one-by-one.

I love the idea of only expanding all notes within a given node. A universal toggle (like Show/hide completed nodes) would be great, but the alternative approach of doing it locally (like Expand All/Collapse All) is, I think, even better. And perhaps even better would be for WorkFlowy to keep those notes expanded beyond the session (maybe that goes without saying) as some notes are ideally left open and some are ideally left closed unless opened. As a writer, I use some notes as the place I write the prose for my chapter and others as I'm sure most people usually use them: as a small note about a task. So being able to keep some notes closed unless open and others open by default would be just so amazing. The reason: so I can zoom in on a node with multiple children, all of which have notes open. This is perfect and ideal (and uniquely possible in WorkFlowy, given this feature request) for outlining a chapter and then drafting the chapter text directly inside each section's bullet. This would be so so helpful! No more writing my book in WorkFlowy AND a text editor app: I can do it all in WorkFlowy!

I concur. I would love to be able to expand all notes. It's essential if you're using Workflowy for taking notes for class like I am.
There appears to be a lot of strong opinions about options vs. simplicity. Perhaps the controversial options could be hidden in an advanced setting that requires solving a Rubiks cube for the user to activate those options. That way you know it wasn't a case of checking random boxes in a convoluted options settings dialogue. lol. Some apps use a text editable .ini file for advanced options in lieu of a rubiks cube challenge. ;)

The ability to expand or contract all notes would be a great feature. The ability to have WorkFlowy remember and preserve the status of a particular bullet, i.e. whether items within that bullet are to be shown as expanded or not would also be a great addition, and a huge time and attention saver.
When I zoom a particular bullet, I’d like to see only the top-level of the items in it. Without that, it's often difficult to grasp an overall understanding of the topic because of the clutter of the many layers of open items. So I’d like to set the status for that bullet as "View level 2" (the main bullet and the next level of sub-bullets). Then I can choose whichever bullet I want, expand and work on it and close it again. The concise view is maintained.
This would be a godsend, and a cure for the chaos that can result in the course of a busy and stressful day, as many bullets can remain open, down to many levels, and need to be closed up, each one manually. While I understand the need for a simple interface, that need should not prevent useful functionality. The Setup menu should allow any feature to be marked available or not. View and use only what you're comfortable with. Have as much simplicity, or functionality, as you want.
