show/hide completed acting funny

I usually keep my completed items shown. 

I have noticed on the desktop site that when I open a new tab/window, my completed items are not shown even though the "show" button is selected. I have to toggle the button to "hide" and then back to "show" to make the completed items show up.

This is not happening on the android app, just on the desktop site. I'm using Chrome Version 68.0.3440.106 on Windows 7 (yes, yes, very old, I know; this is my work computer).

Not a critical issue but I noticed other folks are reporting bugs with show/hide completed so I wanted to add this info to the mix in case it helps you find the root problem.

  Yes, this is our mistake. This just happened in the last 24 hours. We are actively fixing this bug ASAP and will update when resolved. Our apologies!
