Strange issues with Desktop software on Windows 7
AnsweredFor some reason the desktop software starting acting funny today. First, the shortcut icon that I use to start Workflowy, which is normally pinned to my task bar in Windows 7 Pro, disappeared today on it's own. And when I locate the original executable file to repin a new shortcut to my task bar, the icon is the image of a normal file and not of the Workflowy logo like it normally is.
Second, when I start Workflowy by clicking on that file, it starts but is a different color scheme. I don't know exactly what differences there are, but something about it is different without a doubt. I think it's probably just the light version of the software instead of the darker one that I normally use. Also, more importantly, all the info is old and it doesn't have any of my recent notes.
However, the web based workflowy still works and has the current and correct data.
I'm wondering if these issues have anything to do with the Java update I did today? What's strange about this explanation though is that Workflowy was working directly after I did the update. I think the issues started a few hours later.
I also sent a support email so you don't have to respond to both.
Thanks!
