uncolour the "show completed" coloured button
CompletedUI requests
- remove the blue infill on "show completed" in the new browser look, swap it out for a no-fill/grey fill. It's a low-use button, but currently a permanent conspicuous visual distraction.
- keep the toolbar narrow and as inconspicuous as possible - even hover to reveal would be good, maybe with a single gear/settings button visible on the right.

I agree. I'd love to see the entire "Show completed" box replaced with a minimalist icon that indicates the state. Or perhaps the entire toolbar has a "show titles" setting?
I also like the idea of a reveal on hover toolbar as well, but that should be optional... maybe a "lock" icon on the toolbar or a toggle in the gear popup. I can imagine instances where I'd use both "show on hover" and "always show". -
Thanks for the feedback on the New Design! We'll add that to our notes.
For those wondering, you can try out WorkFlowy's new design on Beta here: https://blog.workflowy.com/2018/07/30/want-to-try-workflowys-new-design/comment-page-1/#comment-39526

I don't know why Workflowy have marked this request post as "Completed" in zendesk. I doesn't seem to have been done, and it's no different in the beta.
In my opinion, the "Show completed" switch in Workflowy is the wrong way around. It doesn't need to be a bright, distracting, attention-grabbing colour when it's on because I can already easily see all the completed items crossed out in my list. When it's off, when there are hidden things in the list, that's when I perhaps need to have my attention brought to this option. So, should the label be inverted, i.e. "Hide completed"?
Or just use a grey-scale colour scheme for the switch like originally suggested.
