Double-click + to expand-all no longer consistently works
CompletedThe Workflowy docs are clear that double-clicking the + should expand all bullets under a bullet. A colleague had recently complained that it had mostly stopped working for him, only partly expanding trees no matter how many times he tried -- but I'd ignored him and said I hadn't seen it myself. But today, it's happening to me left and right.
An earlier case where a colleague had a problem before me (the three-dot menu disappearing, which I've posted about separately) had come to affect me a few days down the line, after I'd done an update. I think the issue here is simply that my browser caches old (working) copies of code, then at some point my cache updates and I get affected by new (not working) copies of code. But that's just a theory.
My problems just now have been in the search results view, where I've reported other issues with expand/collapse -- so it could be that the trouble is simply that double-click to expand-all is buggy within search results for a similar reason that you can manually expand a single bullet in search-results view and then have the bullet randomly re-collapsed even while you're typing in it (reported elsewhere). Might be a common source for multiple problems here.
FWIW, both myself and my colleague are on OSX. I'm using the desktop app, he's using the straight browser version in Chrome.
Best,
Chris
P.S. I had posted an earlier bug report re: the need to expand-all for the current zoomed-in page (for which there is a documented solution that doesn't work). Just to be clear, this is a distinct issue from that one.

Multiple members of our team have found a similar pattern: the problem seems to be a general one with search results not respecting one's manual efforts to expand things. So one symptom is that double-click to expand-all can seem not to work fully, and another is that your replies in conversation threads can be summarily collapsed even while you're in the middle of typing into them (reported in a separate topic). Both problems are driving everybody a bit mad (though we're still loving Workflowy).

Hi there,
Ok, I think we've got all the answers/explanation to this in the other thread. But let me know if there are further questions or write to us directly at help@workflowy.com
Thanks!
