Notifications for changes to shared items

I'd like to see a persistent notification of some kind (either in Mac OS or in Workflowy or both) when a shared item is edited by others.

  I agree, it would be good if all members received notification when someone updates a shared list.

  This would make WorkFlowy more useful with a shared list that is not accessed every day.

  I agree with the original post. I am curious if this post is seen and or worked on by 'he Workflowy people'....

  Maybe a number overlaid on the Workflowy toolbar icon, the way Mail, Messages, Photos, alert users to new items . . . 

  Maybe a chime and/or a bouncing icon . . . 

  Whatever method is used should be user configurable in preferences, of course.
