fwiw, I created a bookmarklet that uses WorkFlowy's Multi-Select feature.

definitely seconded - I don't think this is a niche feature, I would use it frequently.

tag functionality and flexibility is central to workflowy workflow imo.

Would love this feature and I also don't see it as a niche feature. Sometimes I have a big list in front of me, with listings which all need the same tagging.

I would definitely enjoy the ability to tag many items at a time. What a timesaver!  And while we’re at it, the ability to select tags from a drop-down list in the iOS version would be even better.

This is not niche.  The way that users are initially guided to use Workflowy (everywhere) and the way search is designed, you need to put similar tags /everywhere/.  Text expansion can help, but it's a broke substitute for what's really needed.  Robust tagging control, recursively, child, and individual select to create a collection to apply or rip tags from it.

    Any news?

I would also like to see Bulk Tag Editing, something like the new option to change the color of a tag.

No news, Erich. We don't have this on our immediate radar...

Do you have something like a roadmap for your development plans?

    Hi Erich,

We don't currently... but there is an ongoing discussion in the Slack group (where the team participates) on what we may be thinking moving forward and what we currently are working on (but can't guarantee). Here's an invite link:

There is also an unofficial roadmap of what we may be working on.
