On this note, is there a reason why tags can't include other symbols?  Maybe it's ugly but I wouldn't mind using #*abc, @^def, or #$_ghi to create different tag types of my own.  That wouldn't affect anyone else and it seems like it would be a pretty easy change to allow symbols (other than '#' and '@') as part of tag names.  Just a thought.

I would need 5 different types of tags (meta, location, time, people, stuff), could you extend the #, @, + list ?

Or is there already a way to do it ?

This would be a huge increment in productivity for us users!

And also to have better designed Tags: toggleable, smaller and lighter!

Tags should be smaller and lighter than normal text to have a different weight. And also would be fantastic if we could toggle "show or hide tags". Otherwise, like it is now, same colour, size and weight than normal text, make tags so cluttering that we try to use them as little as possible. Also, they add many characters to the bullet item thus getting lines broken into another line. And that's a real pity because tags are such a powerful tool to manage and organize huge quantities of data.
