Whitespace in header - Board

Couldn't see this listed, if it is pls advise.

There is a lot of whitespace that seems to serve no purpose and doesn't minimise, in the head of any board layout. It takes up ~20% of vertical real estate (enabling 'full-width page' makes no difference), and is the same across mac browser/app and android mobile - where it's smaller, but *much* larger at bottom.

I've been using Board layout for brainstorming a short screenplay with my daughter - and it's really great for this(!), yet the whitespace really cuts down on what's visible, and the mobile app Board layout is really, unfortunately unusable in this layout.

Ideal solution: less whitespace, I.e. a simple CSS ~18px padding-top, vertical-align: text-top tweak.
