iPad Pro 12.9 when using Apple Pencil, virtual keyboard doesn't appear.

I am using multi device, iPhone, iPad ad Mac. When I use other devices it works j'ime. But when I use it on iPad Pro 12.9 with Apple Pencil handwriting, it is hard to recall the virtual keyboard. I can not figure out, when it cook and when it doesn't. Please fix the bug. Thanks

  I have this issue as well. Seems to happen sporadically.
