Login stuck at email

Using Windows 7/64, Chrome Version 109.0.5414.120 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Stuck in login screen. Shows email field. Type in email, hit login, shows email empty, cannot move on. (same result for hitting enter instead of login.)

Usual action is to type in email, hit enter or login, shows password, fill in password and hit login.

Eventually, I went to the Home screen and hit help, then attempted to put in this problem. Help said login. Login worked from help.
