An @ tag switched to lower case

On my iPad, my @Errands tag has switched to @errands in the display above my keyboard. I unhid my completed tasks and found a single occurrence of @errands. I deleted that bullet, but it still comes up as @errands in the display above my keyboard. Even if I type @E and then select @errands from the display, it changes my uppercase E to lowercase. Please help.
