Mirrors: visual cues?

On Mirrored items, is there a way to automatically change the color of the mirrored items, (but not the source bullet/node)? 

I realize the bullet becomes a diamond, but that's a subtle clue, and it doesn't indicate which is the source and which is the mirror. I've already deleted something by mistake. If mirrored text was a different color, it would be clear and enhance usability.
