It's a shame that Hiding Completed bullets is a global feature. It would be better if Hiding Completed bullets could be applied on a case-by-case basis.
Under some headers, like ongoing to-do lists, you want to hide completed bullets to prevent them from clogging up your view, but still keep them as a searchable archive.
Under other headers, like shopping lists or task checklists, you don't want to hide completed bullets because you want to see how much has been achieved and how close you are to task completion.
(It seems like the To-Do List bullet style was an attempt to address this need, but wasn't functionally any different from regular bullets.)
