Search nested tags?

Hello,

Is there a way to search for nested tags?  For example, say I have an item tagged #project1, with a bunch of sub-items, and some of those are tagged #todo. It'd be great to search for #todo's only under #project1, but the current search feature seems to only return items tagged with both.

  We only have the ability to search with AND or OR logic...but not specific that the results are only in sub-items.  An AND search is just done with listing our multiple keywords.  To do an OR search, just place OR between the words.

  This may be a great feature => An ancestor item with date (today), and sub items with some tags like #project1 ...

  Then maybe we can do search like ""today #project1".

  Please re-consider this feature.

  Please add this feature, as search will become much better.

  Children nodes should inherit the parent tags for search purposes.
  I'm often having to put parent tags on child nodes so I can later find what I'm looking for.

  This is a must.
