Creating node from template now navigates into newly created node

Hi, 

There's been a recent change in template behavior that is disruptive for my workflow. Recently, when I create a new node from a template, it navigates into the newly created node instead of staying at the same zoom level. 

Is this change intentional? If so, how can I turn this off? I have several meetings a week where I use the template feature, and I don't want to lose the context of the notes that are at the same level of the newly created node.
