link creation and mirror creation work once then stop for a while

Just now 11:45pm Nov 21 PST, i can make one ((mirror)) or [[link]] in which it does autocomplete and creates the mirror or link. Then it stops working and becomes just ((text)) for at least 5 minutes.

If i restart workflowy or reload the page, it works again, once. Then stops working. This is the case in the app and through a browser. Everything else appears to be working (can copy mirrors from the ... menu)

my whole workflow is broken. not sure what is happening. anyone?
