Global modifications tools
Hi guys!
I am writing to you right now because something has been on my mind for a few days now. I think Workflowy is being dragged down by its lack of global modifications tools. I know external tools do exist that let you do more with Workflowy, but I think of a few basic stuff I feel we should be able to do in the native app.
The first would be find and replace. This one is a real mystery to me. How come after all these years I still have to use a chrome extension to do something as basic as a find and replace? How come this o-so powerful search tool does not allow me to do a replace? Is there a technical limitation I am not aware of? I am very curions about this one :)
Next one is about multi-line. For a heavy Android user like me, the simple fact of not being able to do multi-line selection is such a bummer. It would be so cool and useful to be able to do multi-line selection and action (oh, sweet sweet multi-line mirroring) directly on the mobile apps.
Always on the topic of multi-line, I think your new command tool would be much more powerful if it could be applied to multiple lines at the same time. I get the spirit of in-line tools and I use in-line linking and mirroring litterally every day, but I think in the case of commands, this should be a more globally-usable tool.
There are all my recent thoughts :)
Thank you for your great work, and take care!

Hi Frank, are simultaneous inline commands on the list too? I agree with this suggestion, it would make formatting in Workflowy one of the most lightning-fast and impressive features it has.
In the meantime I found a really nice workaround using a macro that types out the inline command, before moving to the next line, stopping with manual intervention. It's hacky, but the amount I use it on a daily basis shows just how powerful a feature like that could be.
